Cultural Center of Ukraine in Belgium in cooperation with Manufactura Gallery and Art Center of J. Greter is honored to invite you to the Grand Opening of the exhibition ALTERNATIVE. UKRAINE – REALITY AND FUTURE in Cultural Center of Ukraine in Belgium, Oostmeers 122b, Brugge, November 15 at 4.00 p.m.
ALTERNATIVE. UKRAINE – REALITY AND FUTURE is dedicated to promotion of Ukrainian culture and represents a series of exhibitions of paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations in cities of Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and other European countries.
Art is a spirit of nation and unique international language at the same time. Our task is to pay international attention not only to the difficulties in the Ukraine but also to show the richness of Ukrainian culture, values, aspirations, creativity and intellectual potential of the nation, – says Leonora Yanko, director of the Manufacture Gallery and the Art Center of J. As the part of the project press-conference and exhibition were held in Kiev National Museum of Russian Art September 9 and also exhibition and press-conference have been done in one of the biggest museums of Berlin MAUERMUSEUM – MUSEUM HAUS AM CHECKPOINT CHARLIE June 26.
Exhibition presents paintings of international level museum artists Oleg Radvan and Yurii Vakulenko, icon painters Nataly Nasibulina and Tatiana Gubina, graphic painter Eduard Belskiy, member of European Union of pastel painters Kateryna Pyatakova, installations of Daria Marchenko and Marina Omelchenko, bronze sculptures from Anna Voloshko, video-art from Yaroslav Lyashchuk, contemporary paintings from Maria Kryvopishina, Maryna Gromenko, Ganna Zagorna, Yulia Nasibulina, Lera Litvinova.
Painters Gagik Kurginyan, Aleksandra Sirbu, Renat Ramazanov, Evgenia Antonova, photographers Vitaliy Turbinin, Varring (Ihor Babiy) and other artists took part in the project.
